STEYR MOTORS - INDUSTRIAL DIESEL ENGINES

STEYR MOTORS INDUSTRIAL DIESEL ENGINES
The first Steyr Monoblock engines were produced as early as 1922. Since then, this engine—featuring a unique design without a separate cylinder head—has undergone numerous stages of development. Today, Steyr engines are lightweight and highly efficient in terms of displacement, making them suitable for a wide variety of applications. They are used in military jeeps and special-purpose vehicles, among other things. Thanks to their excellent power-to-weight ratio, these engines are also ideal for high-speed planing boats, both for recreational and professional use.
Steyr Motors GmbH has also developed advanced solutions ranging from flywheel generators to hybrid propulsion systems for boats (both parallel and serial configurations).
