HYUNDAI MARINE DIESEL GENERATOR ENGINES
Marine diesel generator engines are manufactured at the Incheon plant in South Korea, located near the capital city of Seoul. The engines are based on the product line of the renowned German manufacturer MAN. Through a licensing agreement, Hyundai has further developed these MAN engines to meet all modern performance and emissions standards. The engine series includes six-cylinder inline models with displacements of 5.8, 8.1, and 11.1 liters. Hyundai also offers marine diesel engines in V-configurations with displacements of 14.6, 18.3, and 21.9 liters, delivering up to 1200 horsepower.
Hyundai's lightweight and compact engines are based on a licensing partnership with the Japanese manufacturer ISUZU. However, these models are not currently available as marine diesel engines.
Tapimare Oy also supplies equivalent diesel engines as industrial power packages, equipped with radiators, for various stationary applications.
HD Hyundai Infracore has removed the "Doosan" name from its identity, further solidifying its position as part of the HD Hyundai Group, approximately 18 months after the acquisition.
