HYUNDAI MARINE DIESEL GENERATOR SETS 

The marine diesel generator sets are manufactured at Hyundai’s Incheon plant in South Korea, located near the capital city of Seoul. The engines are based on the product series of the well-known German manufacturer MAN. Through a licensing agreement, Hyundai has further developed these MAN engines to fully meet the demands of modern applications. The engine range includes 6-cylinder inline engines with displacements of 5.8, 8.1, and 11.1 liters. Hyundai marine diesel engines are also available as V-type engines with 14.6, 18.3, and 21.9 liters of displacement, with maximum outputs of up to 1200 horsepower.

Hyundai’s lightweight and compact engines are developed in co-operation with Japanese manufacturer ISUZU under a licensing agreement. However, these models are not currently available as marine diesel engines.

Tapimare Oy also supplies corresponding industrial diesel engines as complete power package models, equipped with radiators and ready for various stationary applications.

HD Hyundai Infracore has officially removed "Doosan" from its name, reinforcing its role as part of the HD Hyundai Group. This change comes approximately 18 months after the company was acquired.

The marine diesel generators can be delivered as fully assembled, platform-mounted units, complete with electrical systems. Control options include the ComAp IDDCU panel and IntelVision bridge control panels. Parallel operation between generator sets is also available.
